Rome's castle was now in view, and Germany felt his hope rising. "So, I just go up there and kiss him, and he and everyone else will wake up?"

"Pretty much," Romano nodded.

"And maybe once that happens," Japan added, "We'll get our powers back and convert back to our regular sizes!"

"That's great cuz uh," Prussia cut in, "I have way too much awesome for this little dinky body so…"

"Don't worry, we'll be there soon, so—ach!" Germany felt something wet and sloppy hit him in the head and fall to the ground. He bent down and held it in his hands.

"A fish?"

"Ooh~ is it salted salmon?" Japan jumped up, causing the others to give him a weird look. He sunk back. "J-just wondering…"

Just then another fish landed just a few feet ahead of the group. And another. And another…

"Where do these fish keep coming from, dammit!?" Romano whined, pulling one off of his head. He looked up and gasped with eyes wide and mouth agape.

"What?" Germany looked over and imitated Lovino's expression to see a giant cloud full of fish!

Germany held his shield over his head. "If England thinks this is going to stop me, he's really running out of ideas!"

"Oh am I?"

Ludwig and friends whipped around to see Arthur floating above them, one of his large eyebrows raised. "I've barely even started, you potato loving kraut!"

His wand quickly morphed into a sword and he swung at his opponent with all of his might. Germany was able to block it, but the sheer force knocked him over. He quickly sprang to his feet and charged towards the fairy, and the two began a rather exciting swordfight. One blocked the other's moves, and there'd be times when one would fall but quickly come back up.

"I'll admit," Arthur retorted, while blocking one of Ludwig's blows, "you're a very worthy opponent!"

"I was going to say the same!" the taller man replied.

Meanwhile the fairies were watching the whole thing, fully engrossed in the show. Finally Romano called, "What the hell are we doing? Ludwig needs our help, dammit!"

"I don't know, Romano-kun, he looks like he's got it pretty under contro—"

"I SAID WE'RE HELPING HIM, DAMMIT!"

The fairies began to approach their friend when Minty flew in front of them and hissed.

"SWEET ZOMBIE JESUS!" Romano cried and hid behind Prussia.

"Oh, out of our way, cottontail!" Gilbert sneered, and pulled a ball out of his pocket. Like a dog, Minty became fully fixated on it, eyes wide, tongue hanging out. "See the ball, squirrelly? Well go get it!" Prussia threw the toy as far as he knew how, and the creature followed immediately after it.

"That was…easy…" Romano gaped.

"Now let's go help West!" Prussia commanded.

Meanwhile, Germany had succeeded in knocking Britain's wand out of his hands.

"Why you—!" England growled. "Eat THIS!"

Arthur zapped a scone into his hand and lodged it at Ludwig, hitting him in the face. Somehow, he felt energy leave his body, and he fell to the ground.

"Mein Gott, that's disgusting!" Germany yelled spitting the sorry excuse for food out of his mouth. Before he could get up, England had his sword pointed at the German's chest.

"And I believe this is the part where you die a horrible, painful death," England cackled, raising the sword above his head to strike.

"West!" Prussia called out, "Use the wurst!"

Thinking instinctively, Germany pulled the wurst from his pocket and aimed it for England's mouth. Arthur chomped down and swallowed before he knew what hit him.

"Augh! What the bloody hell did I just ingest?!" he cried, rubbing his throat. Then a magical wind whipped around him, and his toga, wings, sandals, halo, and wand disappeared, followed by a blinding white light.

When his view was clear again, Germany looked back at England. He was now in nothing but a black waiter's apron. Arthur sat up and looked at himself frantically.

"I knew it'd work!" Prussia cheered.

"N-no…no, this can't be!" He cried, "My powers! They're gone!" The pitiful Brit lied on the ground and began to sob uncontrollably. He realized who he was crying in front of, stood up, and sniffed. "You think this is over, kraut?! Just you wait! I'll get my powers back someday, and then you'll be in for a world of trouble!" Collecting what he had left of his dignity, Arthur turned around and began to walk away from Germany and back to his tower.

"What…just happened?" Germany stood there, perplexed. He shrugged and began to cross the bridge to the castle. I'm coming Feliciano, he said to himself, We'll be together again.
Chapter 10!

What? Were you expecting me to kill off England? You guys remember this is supposed to be mostly a comedy, right?
